Specifically engineered for McIntosh’s heavyweight designs, two new amp stands offer the ultimate in support
McIntosh, the global leader in prestigious home entertainment and ultimate-quality audio for over 70 years, is proud to announce the AS125 and AS901 Amplifier Stands.
The two new dedicated amplifier stands have been specifically engineered to provide the optimum support for McIntosh’s highest-performance monoblocks. They can, however, also provide high-quality support for McIntosh integrated amplifiers and other hi-fi components.
The stands are crafted from sustainably sourced, solid white ash, an incredibly strong and durable wood, which is resistant to both scratches and dents. They are constructed using a face-glued technique and feature an edge-grain top, which provides extreme strength, durability and stability.
The stands benefit from a 7.62 cm-thick primary wood slab, finished with multiple coats of jet-black stain, plus a catalysed lacquer topcoat to provide added vibrancy and depth. A McIntosh logo faceplate, illuminated via the rear-mounted Power Control ports, adds additional detail, and the four feet feature protective pads to both minimise vibration and protect floors.
The AS125 is ideally suited to McIntosh monoblock amplifiers, past and present, plus a single AS125 can also be deployed with McIntosh’s integrated amplifiers. The AS125 measures: 45.2 cm wide x 10.3 cm tall x 45.7 cm deep.
The AS901 is specifically designed to be used with the McIntosh MC901 Dual Mono Amplifier, a ground-breaking product with unique characteristics, weight and dimensions. The AS901 is the same width and height as the AS125, but is 30 cm longer (the same length as the MC901).
